ABOUT ME

My name is Eric Staab and I am a student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies pursuing a Master's degree in International Education Management. I grew up outside of Chicago and I received my B.A in Secondary Education-History/Social Sciences from Illinois State University. In between I spent time working with children and as a substitute teacher at my local school district.

Since I was young, I have had a passion for travel and learning about other cultures. During undergrad, I had the opportunity to study abroad at Instituto Lorenzo dei' Medici. It was there that I became interested in working in international education. I hope to be able to continue to visit new places and experience new cultures throughout my career, while also using that passion to help others have the same experiences.

I am currently working at WorldChicago as a Program Assistant. There, I work to facilitate visits to the city for people throughout the world via the Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program, among other responsibilities.
